Horse Pens 40 Bouldering Advance Copies

Advance copies of Horse Pens 40 Bouldering came into the office a few days ago, which is really exciting. After months of hard work and only seeing the images and words on the computer screen, it is very exciting to see everything in book form, exactly how you always dreamed it was going to be. I am very happy with the way it looks and I think you will be too. I have spent the last 2 days shipping out the advances to advertisers, photographers, and shops who will be selling the book. So many more people deserve a copy, but there were only 40 to go around, so I had to be selective. You will be able to check out advance copies on display at First Avenue Rocks in Birmingham, Horse Pens 40 of course, Mountain High Outfitters, Alabama Outdoors, TBA in Chattanooga, hopefully Escalade Rock Gym in Georgia, and hopefully Rock/Creek Outfitters in Chattanooga. Look for up coming reviews of the guidebook as well. I will keep you posted when I see them. On another note, the weather is pretending it’s Colorado here in Chattanooga. We are hoping to get out bouldering at Rocktown this weekend, but there’s already 2 inches of snow on the ground at our house – bummer. Come on sun!
